Parking is adjacent to the beach and coast trail along Sunset Drive. Park off the pavement and keep the bicycle lane clear.
State Parks identifies 27 signed entry points along Sunset Boulevard. Use established access and follow marine-reserve rules.
There are no restrooms on the State Beach. A public restroom is at Phoebe Hearst Social Hall across from the main beach.
Dogs are allowed but must remain on leash. Pets are not permitted on the skating or wildlife-sensitive areas where posted.
No beach rental counter is verified. Arrange equipment and instruction before arriving.
